In South Australia, The South Australian Bone & Soft Tissue Tumour Unit is a Specialist Multidisciplinary Team that is dedicated to the treatment of Sarcoma, Bone Cancers & Rare Cancer Disorders. They are based at Flinders Medical Centre, but work across Local Health Networks, including the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital & The Lyell McEwin Health Service, with the team having clinics in all major sites across LHN’s. All referrals to the Unit are reviewed by a Specialist Orthopaedic Oncologist and cases are discussed each week in 2 Multidisciplinary Team Meetings, keeping South Australians well supported.
